On 7 August 2025, our CEO, Nic Riemer was invited to give a presentation at the
prestigious Edu-Tech and Health-Tech mixer hosted by RMB. This dynamic event
created a platform for innovators, investors and changemakers to exchange ideas,
explore new business models and spark meaningful collaborations.
His presentation focused on The Invigilator’s role in creating a controlled
environment in which online assessments can be conducted while preserving the
academic integrity of qualifications through use of a wide range of functionalities, including:
- Facial recognition,
- Video monitoring,
- Object detection,
- Speech recognition,
- Screen Captures,
- GPS location mapping,
- Plagiarism check,
- AI detection.
Nic also introduced The Invigilator’s latest functionality: live AI monitoring. This unique functionality takes place locally on the device and thus the student does not need a constant internet connection.
Overall, the event was an invaluable opportunity to share our vision, demonstrate our latest
innovations and exchange insights with key players in the education, financial
and health sectors.
